I thought the blog needed another classic family shot to bring smiles to everyone. This looks like a shot from Deb's confirmation so probably 1973. At this point, words escape me......

It could have been 1976. It looks like Grandpa had his Abe Lincoln beard, which I have always heard he grew out for the bicentennial.
ReplyDeleteBut you all would probably know a lot better than I would. :)
ReplyDeleteLo and behold, it was 1973. Dad/grandpa has confessed that he also grew a beard for Elwood's centennial, which was in 1973. If it was 1976, Amy would have been 11 and she looks more like 7 here. By 1976 I had short hair (and haven't looked back since). It's 2:30AM here in Batavia. Mom is in a blissfully peaceful pain-free state of unconsciousness. Her breathing is irregular, but still fairly steady. We're taking turns throughout the night. Peace to all of you.
ReplyDeleteYou are in my prayers. Peace to all of you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing all of these memories with us and allowing us to see a glimpse of life with the Molls. We know God's loving arms are wrapped around each one of you. Go in Peace; Serve the Lord; Thanks be to God...
ReplyDeletePlease know that the staff and families at Word of Life Lutheran Preschool continue to keep your entire family in our prayers. May the peace of our Savior be with you during this journey. God's blessing. Irene Baiker
ReplyDeleteWe send our love and sympathy to Don and family. May your faith strengthen you and our hope of Heaven comfort you. We will miss our dear friend but we know she's with Jesus, her dearest friend. Our prayers will continue to be with you as you go through this difficult time together. Much love and God's continued blessings, Jackie & Jack Meers
