Soon

Mom has taken another turn for the worst. Her breathing is getting very difficult, her color is not good and she is not able to move at all on her own.

We expect that her journey on earth will end soon. We pray that this is a peaceful and quick process and we know she is headed to a better place closer to her God.

I will continue to update the blog.

  1. This is a mixture of sadness and Joy. Sadness because a dear friend will be leaving us, but Joy that she will be with her Savior, whom she trusted all of her life. We can look forward to the joyous reunion in Heaven when our Savior comes to take us Home. Until then, the Lord still has something for us to do in His kingdom. May He grant us his comfort and strength in the days to come.

  4. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Deb has been a blessing to me, and through her, I feel I know all of you so very well. I am saddened that she is leaving this earth, but know that she'll be in excellent hands and be ready to take of all of us as an angel. Peace be with your family during this hard time. God's Blessings,

  5. There is a blessed calm and peacefulness in the house today. Mom looks more comfortable than she has in the last 4 months. She's sleeping continuously now. We are giving her pain medication under the tongue to ensure she rests comfortably. We take turn sitting with her and talking to her. We also allow her some time by herself. The hospice nurse was here and said it will be about a day at the most. I was supposed to go back to St. Louis today. Last night I asked God to give me a sign if He wanted me to stay here. This morning I said to Him, "Gee, thanks for the sign, but did you have to be so blunt?" Peace to all of you. Be comforted in knowing that we all had a good night's rest and are rejoicing in anticipation of mom's eternal life.

  6. Oops, that wasn't Keith that posted the above blog. It's me daughter Deb, but he was still logged in on the lap top. Gotta love it.

  7. We are all very sad for your family and for Uncle Don and Aunt Jeanette. We've been keeping up with all the blogs and love how positve you've all been. It must be very hard for all of you! Our Anna and Matthew are very upset and sad to hear she won't be at our family events at Carolyn's anymore, as are we. Anna never really knew anyone close, who's been this sick before and she is still hoping for a miracle. She checks the blog every day after school. Matthew keeps saying it could just be a mistake and that Aunt Jeanette will be OK. I wish they were right! They wanted to visit her when Danny comes back from out of town, but it seems she's gotten sicker, quicker than we expected. If we don't get the chance, we are all very glad and blessed to have seen her this past summer before all this happened. Please give her our love and an extra hug from our Matthew and Anna. We hope you're all OK.

  10. What comfort to know the wonderful place that is ready for Jeanette - Heaven is our home!! The Christus Choir will not compare with the songs of the angels!! We are praying for you all. May God grant you peace and comfort knowing the joy that awaits all of us whose hope rests on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Jeanette is one of the dearest people we have ever known and she will always have a special place in our hearts!

  11. We were so saddened to hear of today's news but also understand that Jeanette is ready to go "home" to her heavenly father. What a mixture of emotions for you all. How does someone go through something like this without faith and knowing that our heavenly father awaits to welcome Jeanette home and someday all will gather together again. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you all.

  12. Our dear Friends,

We pray for you constantly. Please tell Jeanette that the ladies of WOL prayed for her this evening and for Pastor Moll too. I remember how supportive she was when we started this group 8 years ago. Much love, Judy and Gary

  14. How can one be sad and happy at the same time? The Bible and our love for Jesus are supposed to make it easy to understand, but as Pastor Moll always calls it "the human condition" is ever present. Susie and I send our deep prayers for Jeanette and the entire family and cover you all with prayers.
